I don't watch much television programming, and I'm picky as hell. But I will include things that began outside the era, because how can you not mention The Sopranos? Inarguably one of the finest dramas the box has ever seen.
I was quite fond of Deadwood, The Shield, Damages, The Sopranos, Venture Bros., Sealab 2021 and for god's sake, Curb Your Enthusiasm. Many of these were, however, shows I did not watch from day one, but played catch-up with (thank you, Digital Versatile Disc!).
On occasion I have loved Metalocalypse, Xavier: Renegade Angel, Party Down, Head Case, Law & Order (original brand, please), and I would say I have watched far too much Family Guy.
